Standard Bank taking bank charges from amounts reserved for purchase and Anti-***** service resulting in more charges

Since I opened my account at Standard Bank Gezina there has been a big problem with my account. When I swipe my card for purchases or when I buy something online the amount goes off my available balance immediately (Reserved). The problem is that reserved amount is not protected against Standard Bank's own bank charges. By the time the merchant banks, 5 or 10 days later Standard bank already took their charges from the reserved amount and then sometimes there's not enough funds available in the account. Standard Bank then honors the payment and charges me R130-00 Honoring Fee. I went to Standard Bank in Quagga Mall, Pretoria West once and twice to my branch in Gezina. When I went to Gezina branch the last time the lady actually admitted the big problem and told me that the problem was corrected on the 1st of January 2019. Also when I do a payment online for an amount in $ then the amount gets converted to rand according to the exchange rate at that moment and goes off my available balance immediately. When the merchant banks a few days later the amount that goes off from my account is worked out according to the exchange rate on the day the merchant banks. This also tells me that Standard Bank is not reserving amounts the right way like other banks do.

Recently I made a payment to Apple for a developer account. The moment I did the payment Standard Bank's Anti-***** department decided to block the payment and I received an sms immediately asking if it was me who did the payment and that I must reply ''Y'' if it was me. I rep**** to the sms immediately. A few hours later I received an email from Apple saying that there's a problem with my payment. I then checked on my banking app and saw that the amount was returned to my account so I did the payment again. Apple is trying since the 17th of July to take the amount from my bank account resulting in a service fee of R8-50 for POS Declined Insufficient Funds each time they try to take the payment. Sometimes they try to take the payment 4 times a day and it's still going. I sent an email to Standard Bank on the 22nd of July and only received a mail on the 24th saying that it was forwarded to the Anti-***** department. I never asked for this anti-***** service and why do they block the payment and then after you confirmed that it was you, you have to do the payment again?

Hi Mohammed I am sorry but your commitment is lying somewhere else. Up until now I have not been contacted by anyone. I think maybe I should post this on every social media platform there is and see if Standard bank responds then.
