Standard Bank takes your money and then still accuses you of defaulting

After being unable to make a monthly loan payment for the first time ever in more than 13 years with Standard Bank due to being unemployed, I made an agreement with Standard bank to pay my missed payment over 3 months the first of which was due by 28/02/2018. After going through great lengths to make a plan to obtain the cash needed, I proceeded to make the deposit at atm (D159) in Rivonia on 28/02/2018. I inserted the cash and entered the account number for the deposit after which the machine gave an error message on the screen to the effect of "service cancelled - please take your cash". However, no cash was returned by the atm. Just an error receipt. I refused to move and stood at the atm for almost an hour while I called Standard Bank to report what had happened. I even got a message to confirm the report logged (Service request no. ********** 045). There was nothing more I could do since the branch was already closed for the day so I left and returned to the same branch in Rivonia the next morning (01/03/2018) when they opened. I was told there was nothing they could check or do as all the systems were down. I left and then went to the Benoni branch on 02/03/2018 where the consultant called the loan department and I informed them of the problem and they told me there was nothing they could do but put a note on the system until the service request was resolved. I have been getting messages from Standard Bank to say I defaulted on my agreement which is completely unfair since the Standard Bank atm took my money and due to Standard Bank's OWN system error and NO FAULT of my own, they are now holding me responsible for defaulting on the arrangement. Today (05/03/2018) I even got a call from the Loan department who seemed to know absolutely nothing about the problem I had explicitly reported to them. I was told it would affect my credit record due to my defaulting on my arrangement (which I DID NOT do) and I am absolutely appalled at how such an institution can kick people when they are already down and accuse them of defaulting when it is there own system and atm error at fault.
