STANDARD BANK SUCKS

Standard Bank appear to have no concern for its clients -- especially the elderly. I have been a client for 56 years and am shocked at their many ATM closures, while most other major banking groups such as Absa, FNB, Nedbank and Capitec still cater for their clients. I live in Port Elizabeth and was shocked to see that Standard Bank closed THREE ATMs in the Walmer Park Shopping Centre. You now have to walk a distance to the far end of the complex as the only ATMs available are at the actual bank. They have also removed Standard Bank ATMs at the Mount Pleasant SuperSpar, Intercare at King's Court and now also the one at Builders WareHouse. Some have been replaced by an "ATM brand" but you are charged a fee if you use them. The large number of elderly people who live in these areas are being seriously inconvenienced. BRING BACK STANDARD BANK ATMs. Cater for your clients instead of being focused on profits!!!!!!!!, DISGUSTED CLIENT!!!

Just discovered today that a SEVENTH Standard Bank ATM -- at Fig Tree centre -- has also been removed bringing the total to SEVEN in our immediate vicinity. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

You now have to travel all the way to the Standard Bank at a very busy Walmer Park Shopping Centre if you wish to draw cash. Not on -- especially for all the elderly that live in the vicinity.

What I don't accept is the response of thanking me for "alerting" them to the issue. Surely, they must be aware of the situation as Standard Bank obviously ordered the removal of the ATMs!
Like everything in this country -- there is no longer service for the people.
