Standard Bank Sucks

<p>I did a purchase transaction and paid with cheques. The cheques were cleared out of my account the very nexy day. I enquired at the bank as to why the supplier did not receive the money and was told that it takes 7 days to clear the cheques. This has caused me a major inconvenience. Also I would like to know where this money is laying and who is getting the interest this money could have generated. It was a Standard bank to Standard Bank transaction.If they were so worried about this being a ********** transaction why not just contact me instead of causing me stress.At the end of the day it is my money. </p>
