Standard bank student loan failed me

This bank has ruined my life. I took a student loan 9 years ago to help pay my second year. I completed graduated 3rd in the country. However they have chased me for years with different lawyers giving me an amount to repay that does not add up. I spoke to them and the bank directly on many occasions about a suitable payback but they want to lock you in and the lawyers do not take my information or correspondence back to the bank They have lawyers that want to feed out of repayments and interest. To date I have acquired assets but I refuse to be bul**** into something I know is untrue the loan amount was 26000 in 2012 and in 2014 they told me it's 92000. The bank has misplaced the original contract and therefore has held me for years on bad credit due to no one willing to assist. This is the problem in this country of our institutions that take advantage of people of colour saying your helping but actually your here to ruin any chance we have of making it out of poverty. I have paid back most of this loan, no one wants to assist in a decent settlement because it's easier to create a monthly payment and hold this loan with interest for the rest of my life.
