Standard Bank staff says foreigners in SA are not allow to have more than one bank account!!!

I was at Standard Bank at the Pavillion in Durban and I was told by Florence Mkhize that foreigners are not allowed to bank with more than one bank. It was very shocking to me given that I was there to collect a Moneygram remittance. First of all, contrary to what is stated on the Standard Bank website, I was told that they cannot process a Moneygram transaction for me unless Im banking with them. So I said okay do open an account for me...then came the issue: according to Florence Mkhize they could not open an account for me since im already banking with FNB. Apparently it would against the SRB guidelines which by the I have never heard in the 20 years I have been in South Africa and I have banked with multiple institutions including Nedbank, FNB, ABSA...Even with my passport, a 5years valid permit and a proof of address, they could not help me! I would like someone at Standard Bank to please send me a reference or link to the SRB resources that states that foreigners in SA are not allowed to bank with more than one institution. I waiting
