Standard bank scheme on home loans

I've been under debt review for few years and payments have been made to home loan. Now a letter has been issued the we have not been making payments to the account and have been handed over. The installment amount monthly is now double our contract amount and I have no success in communicating with them . They don't reply to emails and I get transferred to no one and phone gets disconnected. Now lawyers are saying I can't afford my house even though I pay my original contract installment every month. I have read that standard bank has done this scheme before but I would like to know the way forward. S
