Standard Bank (SB) Interest Rate ****

I was approached by Standard Bank ( Linda L Sithole ) with the offer that, if I move my personal banking from another bank to Standard Bank, then Standard Bank would reduce the interest rate on my student loans from 12% to 7%. and not deduct bank charges for 3 months. After signing the banking agreement, I subsequently moved all of my debit orders to a new Standard Bank account. To date, SB has not adjusted the interest rates on my loans For FOUR months I have been requesting that the do what they promised and no response is received, Until I mentioned social media. I received promises, but in fact this month, the debit orders went off my bank account twice. And I was not refunded, on the over deductions, as promised. I am now going to move my banking bank to my original bank. It is very disappointing to have to go through all this effort, only to be let down by what can only be described as a **** to get people to move banking accounts.
