21 Jun 2024, 15:45Still no response from "THE TEAM" very good at taking our monies, very poor customer service. My next email will be to the senior executives of Standard Bank as you clearly do not care for us small people with no millions. My previous complaint as per below was never attended to.
Bunch of ******* who ***** ordinary peoples' money to pay their CEO R100's of millions yearly. what bs is that. I WANT MY MONEY!!!!!
I won't go into the finer details however, will use a simple example:
If i have R100 available balance in my account on 19 April and I spend by "swiping" R80 at spar same day, My available then becomes R20. now there are two scenario's that i experience all the time with this ridiculous bank:
1. If i try to swipe for R25, it will decline and charge me R8, and i am fine with that.
2. If Spar then do their deposits 4 days later and i don't have money in that account, Then I get charged R80 "honouring fee" What ******* is that?????
When I made the purchase for R80, I had money in my account, hence the transaction was successful. I then had R20 available balance. now if i go spend R30 while i have R20, then i understand being charged an honouring fee, if they honour it, but they will never honour it , am guessing due to NCA regulations.
My issue is:
1. Why am i being charged an honoring fee for the merchant only banking their receipts a few days later, surley when i paid, i had money in my account hence it moved from available balance to just available and i couldn't access what i used. That should be an issue you take up with the merchant for banking late, not my money.
@. doesn't matter that you withdraw R60 or more, the minimum they charge you for withdrawing your money is R9, and the more you withdraw, the more they *****.
The list of times and transactions like these are endless on my bank statement. Now i must take time out and go through every single transaction on my account to see how much has been ****** so that bthe COE can have a fat payday.
This is not ending here, social media helps us who dont have millions to have a voice, I am only starting on this platform, the rest will follow if I don't get a satisfactory resolution to this, and none of that "we will only reverse 1 transaction or fees" meanwhile you stole 5. I WANT MY MONEY
