Standard Bank running a ****

So apparently Standard Bank is running a new **** where you go to draw money and after you enter your pin once you get a message on screen saying that they are retaining your card because you entered the pin incorrectly 3 times even though you only entered it once. The correct pin. The same pin you have had for over 20 years.

So then you need to request a new card. Boom, they charge you R160 for a new card even though it was not your fault. An additional R15 change the pin.

This happened to me on 15 August. I paid for a new card collected it.... Today, went to draw money.... Exact same thing happens. They take my card again. I get the same message. Again I only entered MY CORRECT pin once.

So now I have to order a card again. They will charge me R160 again.

This is a huge **** by Standard Bank. They have over 12 million clients, Personal & Private. Imagine they do it with only 2 million people. Just like that they ****med their clients out of 320 Million Rand.

In my case they did it twice,imagine they only **** 1 million people twice. Just like that they ****med their clients out of 480 million rand.

Obviously our money is not safe with Standard Bank. I have had the same account since just after school. Time to move.

And they know they are doing it.l, because I asked for assistance on X and I got ignored. I asked when I collected my card and the consultant just pretended that he didn't hear me.
