Standard Bank - Robbing my Dad, for being ******

Hi, I am writing this complaint in great disappointment that STD Bank are trying to rob my father. My dad had being a victim of ATM mugging at the Prospecton STD Bank. He had then called he helpline and complained ***. After 2weeks of continuous calling to enquire, my dad was then told that the bank can only pay R500 and not the R1000 which he was ****** of. When we questioned why this was the case, they mentioned that he took a long time to report the problem. the case was reported within 30min of the incident. My dad is 66 Years, and this was the 1st time he had ever experienced something like this. 1stly he was in shock, and when he did realize what had happened he reported it. I cannot understand how STD Bank justifies the amount. <br> There are camera's at the ATM, and we also asked the investigators to view footage as evidence of the incident. My dad is a pensioner, and the money that he deposits every month is his pension money to pay his life policy. STD Bank have ****** my father, and I will be looking to change his bank and never to deal with STD Bank again.
