standard bank refuses to remove credit listing

I had and account which I fell into arrears with when I was younger. I have since paid the account off ( in 2014) I have been issued with a paid up letter. my problem is they just will not remove the listing from Experian or trans union. I have spent hours ****erally) on the standard bank help line trying to get someone to notify them to remove the listing but it is still there almost a year later?? I do not know what to do, yes I missed payments due to personal problems but I did pay it back and the debt is settled why must I beg for over a year to have it removed? I have emails from them have resorted to shouting and screaming but still nothing they just do not care about the problem I have as no matter what I do. I get the worst interest rate, no matter how well I pay my accounts I want to buy a house next year but this dam Standard bank listing is a thorn in my side this is my last avenue. MOVING FORWARD THEY SAY.. MORE LIKE PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM MOVING FORWARD. no idea what to do now I have begged for to long..
