Standard Bank refuses to pay insurance claim.

I bought a property (House) in 2003. Standard Bank financed the property. Before the bond was approved Standard Bank inspected the property and then approved my application for the bond. The property comprises a house and 2 lapas. The property has since been insured with Standard Bank. <br> <br> Two weeks ago one of the lapas burned down. I lodged a claim and the bank refuse to pay. They say they did not know that I had a lapa on my property and it was n=therefore not covered in the insurance. <br> <br> I dispute the refusal to pay as the lapa was part of the property that Standard Bank financed right from the beginning. Could you please help?
