Standard bank refuse to release registration papers for settled in full vehicle

We bought a vehicle in February 2022 through standard bank finance. In February 2023 the vehicle was settled and the registration documents requested. The incorrect documents were sent to us. After numerous calls to standard bank vehicle finance department and a lot of empty promises from the consultants, we STILL haven't received the correct documents to register the vehicle on our names. This has been ongoing for 3 months and still no satisfaction. How did standard bank move from a recognised institution to such poor service delivery that one is ashamed to mentioned them? The service and situation is totally unacceptable! Do we have to involve the lawyers just to get the correct paperwork from standard bank to register our settled in full vehicle?!
