Standard Bank Private Banking Sucks!

Standard Bank's Private Banking service is a schlepp of note to get rid of.<br> <br> I can't tell you how many times I've tried to downgrade it because I am unhappy with it with to no avail.<br> <br> I even went to their suite in Sandton to try and get rid of this service. I was told that the suite doesn't fall into the same region as where my account is but was promised that the matter will be handed to the correct person, no movement resulted.<br> <br> All I want to do is to downgrade my account so I can get rid of this bureaucracy! The prestige bankers can do more on interest rates than the private bankers. Believe me! Don't make the same mistake I made. If you're a client never ever ever let them upgrade your account to private banking, it's a toothless facility that will cause you more headaches than anything else. With the only alternative to move banks because no branch may downgrade your account. What a joke!
