Standard bank pinelands

I went to standard bank Pinelands. It was the same day I was denied service on fnb to open a savings account (stokfel). The lady we had the all documents but to my surprise they said that we need two letter of employment and a business account. We wanted to open a stockfel or a NPC two of us had work permits and one had a business permit. To my surprise the lady said that oy South Africans can open a stokfel account or a group account. This was a surprise because earlier this year some guys opened a same account without even CIPC documents. We dad CIPC documents but we were told that in order to open an group account we need business permits and letter of employment. My problem is that these banks do not educate their employees in terms of serving passport holders. We look like fools in the bank when a lady actually says the stokfel is for South Africans only.
