Standard Bank Phoenix Plaza what a joke

I went to the Phoenix Plaza branch on the 6th of October 2025 to open a new business account. I was taken to the business banker who despite having nobody at his desk, never even looked at me or my wife not once neither did he even greet us. We sat in front of his desk for over 30 minutes watching take calls on his cell. After a while he called me to his desk and said he doesn't see clients without an oppointment. How was I supposed to know this. He then took my docs and after a while of me thinking he was actually opening my account, he tells me he can't open the account today, he will call me the next day and I will have to come back to open the account. 7 days has now passed and I still awaiting his call. The service at Standard Bank Phoenix is absolutely pathetic. I would not recommend any new businesses to go to this branch for any assistance. Today the 13th of October 2025 I made an enquiry with FNB and was called back immediately. Within 1 hour my business account was opened and activated. I am even set up with their banking app and they opened a seperate personal account for me as well. FNB is absolutely brilliant and I can vouch that they really care about their customers.
