Standard bank only for the rich and wealthy

My mother passed away therefore I needed to pen a late estate account. Being a Standard bank client I tried opening this account with Standard Bank just to be told that they ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP.

Their reason: “It is going to be a too small amount and therefore won't be worth our wile. Our minimum amount acceptable is R250 000.oo to open such an account”

My question is: "How many south Africans have such large estates?" My mom in-law’s estate was only worth something like R85 000.oo. This leaves me with the conclusion that Standard bank is only available for the rich and wealthy and is out here to only MAKE MONEY and not to render a service at a reasonable cost!!! A big BOOOO to Standard bank
