Standard Bank- (NOT) waiving ATM fees

On 31 March 2020 I received a sms from Standard Bank stating clearly that because of the Corona Virus they are waiving the ATM cash withdrawal fees. I thought that's great Standard Bank well done for doing your part!! But... So I've put them to the test, I went to the ATM and withdraw some money on different occasions, only to see that they still charge for each and every withdrawal. They charged me R19-00 for cash withdrawals. That's just pathetic to say the least. Why tell your customers that you waiving fees, but lie about it and still charge in a difficult time for all. And by the way I'm not the only one complaining about this. Unprofessional to use the corona virus as an excuse and still charge fees. Standard Bank not so great after all.
