Standard bank not taking the responsibility of the money withdrawn from my account.
Dear Hello Peter
I have lost about R14650 from my standard bank account. Initially, the R5000.00 was withdrawn, I saw the message and i attempted to block the or inform the bank though the app. Nonetheless, the app was not working that day. So i decided to call the private banker and I could not find anyone, so then I called the standard and it took so long to get hold of the consultant, then after, the second withdrawal went of after 13min of the first one. so when the consultant blocked the card it was already late.
Besides, I have attempted to communicate with my private banker who nowhere to be found, and I believe the recording of the day of the incidence where I was questioning the lady from Polokwane branch why was this a coincidence happening the same day my money was being withdrawn from the bank.
Now the standard is pointing out that this my fault, even though their app was not working. see their reply.
