Standard bank not interested in service.

Three times in the branch to get info on opening account. 1. The first time there were about 5 staff members in various stations and not one of them acknowledged me to ask if they could assist as I did not know where to enquire. The fact that your entrance is coming off the outside parking area and not in the main mall passage also does not help and I have no idea who would have designed you branch like that. 2. The second time I came in was the same thing and I then found the manager who was quite helpful but i left the branch telling him I trust he would do something about the lack of interaction from his staff. 3. Yesterday I went in , by this time knowing where the manned entrance was, the lady took my name and said someone would call me. I sat down and besides me were a group of three guys who were together and no other clients. Not one of your stations had any clients! Again about 6 staff members in various stations. After a while I went back the the person who took my name to enquire how long I would wait as none of the staff had client with them. She then walked around speaking to various people in her language so I don't know what she was saying. So Tsepo who was standing at a desk of a colleague nodded to me to come to that desk after the lady had finished. He really did not seem to be friendly and as with the rest of the staff i felt very unwelcome. I asked about opening a current account, a credit card and a money market account and I asked if I had a money market acc if there would be charges on my current and credit card, to which he rep**** yes. I mentioned none of the other banks charged, but he said Standard does. He seemed more interested on what was on his colleagues pc screen than in me. Needles to say with the way the branch is run and the charges I decided it better not to pursue the matter. And will most probable go to your competitor downstairs.
