Standard bank not good

My wife has a prestage account with standard bank which she took with high promises from the bank to benefit her. To our disappointment everytime my wife is purchasing a car or a bond she doesn't get any good interest rate from her own bank but end up being aproved by other banks. This happened when she took a bond, ABSA which is my bank gave a better rate than Std bank, it happened 3 time again when she was purchasing her cars. The last one being a recent one where std bank gave 7.5% linked rate or 8.89% fixed failing to match or beat West Bank at 7.19% linked or 7.89% fixed. For these reasons I feel std bank is not benifiting their loyal clients after my wife has been banking with them for 10years.
