Standard bank not being fair by not updating information with credit bureaus

I had a credit card and a cheque account with standard bank between 2015 - 2017. I went behind on my credit card payments and the bank listed me on ITC- which was fair however after I paid up the whole amount owed. I am struggling to get standard bank to update the credit bureaus. I call and no one is able to explain the process or point in the right direction. My credit life is ruined even though i paid all my debt in 2018. I was denied a job because of that unpaid debt!Standard bank stop being a bully!
