My mother is currently bedridden. While in hospital, her bank card was cloned and her account was cleaned out. I managed to contact the call centre and have her card stopped and blocked. Once my mom was discharged, the problem was that she couldn't physically go into a branch to apply for a new card, and also claim for the funds that were drawn from her account. This is when Noni Masinga from Standard Bank Northgate stepped in. The ****** funds were returned to her. But, the cherry on the top was that Noni Masinga and his assistant personally made a house call to my mom, helped her with all the documentation and issued her with a new card.
