STANDARD BANK - NO SERVICE- larger monthly fees charged
I have not been able to access standard bank online banking for 5 days. I have called, hold on for 10 minutes at a time, my call does not get answered, after listening to all of their jargon and undelivered promises, so many times, I can almost recite it. I have sent emails for them to make contact with me to resolve my issue, no response. There service is non exiistant- would not recommend them. I am supposed to have a personal banker whom I never hear from, her telephone number is not available.

21 Dec 2021, 14:37My homeloan is through Standard bank. I have been a client of theirs in excess of 25 years. Is it correct that they advise me on an increase in interest rates on my homeloan a month and a half after they have implemented it and send me an email a month and a half later to advise me of their decision as well as interest which was not allocated for this period, so i will be paying interest upon interest because of their poor service. The financial services industry is supposed to give 30 days notification of changes, are they exempt from the rest of the industry and what is the reasoning?
