Standard Bank Motor Assist Cover - Proof of vehicle comprehensive cover

I have received countless harassing emails from a so called SBMAC stating the following:

"As specified in your Standard Bank finance agreement, it is compulsory that all financed vehicles have comprehensive cover for the entire finance period.

We have to date not received the details of your comprehensive vehicle insurance.

We will now add the Standard Bank Motor Assist Cover Policy from The Hollard Insurance Company Ltd (registration number ***, an authorised financial services provider), to your finance account until you provide the details of your own comprehensive insurance cover.

The premium of R 1430.72 for this limited cover policy will be added onto your monthly instalment and your vehicle will be covered (under this policy) with effect from the date of your first monthly instalment.

You can still email *** , or fax to ***, the proof of your comprehensive vehicle insurance to avoid the above mentioned policy from being added."

I have obviously taken out insurance with SANTAM the day I've financed the vehicle through Standard Bank. Why would you require proof at this time?

I have thus accepted the fact that these emails are a ****.

If it happens that additional monies will be deducted, I will immediately reverse the debit order. I do not take this lightly at all.
