Standard Bank Montana - Worst bank branch by a mile

Call reference: ***. After spending close to 3 Hours in a que at Standard bank Montana, Pretoria (Kolonnade Shopping Centre) yesterday 24th March 2022 I finally had the chance to see a consultant. I asked the consultant to please change my wife's (She's in the UK so can't do it herself) internet banking OTP preference to her e-mail address (I have FULL signing power on my wife's account)! I repeated myself 10 times to make sure that the consultant understands perfectly what I want done. After discussing everything backwards and forwards, she assured me that she is 100% sure that the OTP's will go to her e-mail address and not the cell phone number. GUESS what......It still goes to my cell phone number!!!! I phoned Standard bank today to enquire (Internet banking department) why this is the case. She informed me that the consultant should have edited my wife's profile and not my profile (Call reference: ***) adding that there is NO way she can edit it telephonically i.e. I have to go back to the bank to do this. Probably to see the very same untrained uneducated consultant as before!!!! The consultant on the telephone could easily establish what is wrong but to the consultant in the bank it was to complicated...obviously!!! This causes frustration, time and money travelling up and down!!!! I looked on Google reviews for this branch and the very same complaints of waiting hours and hours for service is recorded there by to many to mention clients.
