Standard Bank ****mers

I was ****med on my credit card early December 2024 to the tee of R 20000. I receive a call from a call centre saying it's Standard Bank ***** Department asking whether I was trying or just bought online to the tee of 6 amounts of R 4999.79 and they suspect that it was *****ulent. The person gave me my name.. ID number.. and card number and said they want to stop the transactions. I could hear other people also talking in the background as if in a call centre which sounded authentic. The person then said that they will generate OTP"s which I must give back to them to stop the transactions. I gave 4 otp"s when I just felt funny about this. I phoned Standard Bank and reported what just happened and also stopped my card. I waited almost for a month for a verdict after Standard Bank investigated. Only to be told that being a valued customer for over 50 years they will offer me a 50 % payment of my loss. I then asked them for a better offer which obviously they did not consider and said I could go to the Ombudsman. I then accepted their offer but still feel that being a valued customer of over 50 years and trusted Standard Bank all the years with my business and felt that it was an inside job because of my personal information they could give me. I feel that the Bank has insurance for such events and where did they ( ****mers) get my information from? So the bank has in a way compromise me as well and must take full responsibility. Anxiously awaiting a response.
