standard bank /mdb in refuse to accept fully paid up letter

My father Mr PW Swanepoel has done a review last week, mbd inc. has sent a reply that all has been closed and has been sent to credit berau for removal. But he has just received an sms stating that he has 7 days to pay the account. or a summons will be sent out.. either there are none communication between mbd inc and standard bank, I also have the paid up letter from standard bank i have sent them all the emails and they sent the confirmation that they received all the emails but still they sent my dad smse that he needs to pay, they just sent sms for final notice
