Standard Bank Legal deducted money from my account
I have an overdue credit card which I have been struggling to pay. The Standard Bank Credit Card Legal Division deducted R3 600.00 approx from my cheque account without my permission. I am contacting the ombudsman because surely they would need my permission. I can afford maybe R1 000.00 per month but not R3 600.00. I tried to call in but they are just saying they will not return my money. Surely this is wrong but I am sure the ombudsman will let me know.
