Standard Bank is the only bank that does this

My 26 August 2020 and 26 January 2021 emails [and https://www.hellopeter.com/standard-bank/reviews/no-other-bank-does-as-standard-bank-***] refers.

I went to Standard Bank Sea Point requesting a reference number for the above complaints as I need to refer this matter to the Banking Ombudsman. The good lady there made phone calls, trying to dissuade me from going to the Ombudsman and trying to get clarity about the issue, she was continuously referred to a lot of departments. Then in the end she was transferred to a gentlemen called Quinton; I think he is a senior manager; as the good lady was talking to him I suggested that I speak to him so that he can check my statement as this account was up to date up to before it was given a payment holiday [PH] in April/May last year, this Quinton refused to talk to me; and he continued by referring me to the debt collector your bank has handed me over. This raises a lot of questions

1.clearly the customer DOESNT COME FISRT with your bank, I am there [IN YOUR BRANCH] with one of your staffers seeking explanation and this "senior manager" refuses to talk to me but refers me to someone who isn’t with the bank to explain to me, your xenophobia is just at another level. [I haven’t experienced banking with Standard Bank, only xenophobia in all interactions]

2.[Quinton mentioned to the lady that the account was restructured] seems only Standard Bank does restructuring of an account midway through the account's term. When I opened the account, the bank said I couldn’t buy a more expensive car because my of affordability/credit limit, so how was the credit limit increased WITHOUT checking affordability. I had just requested for a PH, meaning I had no money; is it the banks policy to let families go hungry by thumb sucking/restructuring accounts when they don’t like the surname of the client?

3.[Like I mentioned in my last email Monique Ogre [her email dated 28 July 2020] confirmed that THIS ACCOUNT WAS GRANTED A PAYMENT HOLIDAY AND WAS UP TO DATE IN PAYMENTS BEFORE THAT] So the PH was an error, the bank, true to its fashion doesn’t cater for foreigners and I wasn’t supposed to be given a payment holiday?

4.Assuming that the PH was not supposed to be granted, seems only Standard Bank restructures loan accounts, disregarding regulations for affordability, instead of properly recovering the overdue amounts.

Please give me the reference numbers of my complaints as I need to take this up with the Ombudsman.
