Standard bank is not professional and very slow
In 2005, I had to issue a bank Guarantee to NHBRC for late enrollment
So I made an arrangement Standardbank to issue( Gurantee no : M448122 ) at R83,600 on 25th Feb 2005.
This guarantee supposed to keep for 5 years from issue date which is by 20th May 2010.
I only recognize recently did not follow up at that time and approach to NHBRC and collect the letter of demand / Gurantee no : M448122 and submit original to Brooklyn branch ( Ms.Sumen ) on 15th May 2019
Sumen sent me an email with the bank statement ( not current account )and telling me standard bank released guarantee in July 2009 which does not make sense to me
Guarantee letter clearly indicates " This guarantee is neither negotiable nor transferable and will expire on 20 February 2010. whereupon the original must be returned to this office " but how can Standardbank release gurantee before 20 feb 2010 without presenting of original guarantee?? so I said this statement does not prove itself guarantee is paid and if it happened in July 2009, Standardbank broke the own rule themselves. Please Investigate this ASAP as a matter of urgency and importance and I need my money back with interest
