Standard Bank is KA****

<p>I have been trying for 3 months to cancel a simple home loan building insurance policiy with the *********** idiots at Standard Bank Insurance Brokers. I have sent them proof that there is a replacement policy with another insurer and I have received confirmation from them acknowledging the cancellation request. And guess what? They have just debited me again with their ridiculously overpriced insurance premium. (BY THE WAY, ALL STANDARD BANK INSURANCE PRODUCTS ARE SUBSTANTIALLY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER INSURERES. DO NOT INSURE ANYTHING WITH STANDARD BANK INSURANCE....I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE PAYING TO MUCH!). </p> <p> </p> <p>And it is not just the insurance division that is useless, the bank staff, even though I am with Prestige Banking, simply don't give a rats **** about getting anything sorted out or assisting in any kind of usefull way.</p> <p> </p> <p>DO NOT USE THIS BANK. IF YOUR BANK IS USELESS AND YOU ARE CONSIDERING STANDARD BANK AS AN OPTION......DO NOT!!!! </p>
