Standard Bank is a SHOCKING bank in every aspect !!!

<p>I am appauled by the incompetence of staff and BY FAR the worst ATM machines in the country !</p> <p> </p> <p> I was told it would take me 1 year to pay off a small RCA loan , i only recently found out that they have been charging me 24,2% interest plus a monthly RCA fee!!! almost 2 years later and over 500 rand debited from my account monthly basis plus me adding aditional money , i still owe 8300 off a 10 000 RCA . After i was told my monthly debit order and additional small funds like a few hundred here and there would close the RCA which i did . </p> <p> </p> <p>When i initially signed the RCA i also had insurance against retrenchment , disability and death against it , TURNS OUT when I was retrenched I hadnt been working at that company long enough , therefore still had to pay the monthly fee even with no income after retrenchment . Ontop iof that i PAID for insurance against retrenchment . Your policies are shocking and make little to no sense . </p> <p> </p> <p>After countless phonecalls and emails i have no choice but to let the public know what they are about and they put the customer last as long as they take your money so you FEEL ****** thats all that matters . </p> <p>Standard Bank has gone down hill for the worst and i am 100% moving banks after 18 years of using standard bank . Your staff is lifeless and gives the incorrect information , your systems are shocking and you guys just are the WORST BANK IN SOUTH AFRICA . </p> <p> </p> <p>CAPITEC OR FNB , here i come . I am settling the R 8 300 RCA and i will move everything over . I feel like i have been ****** blindly . Couldn't care less what Standard Bank has to say , they dont even bother replying to my emails and it takes me over 30 Minutes to get through to a customer service sonsultant on any given day . </p> <p> </p> <p>You have been WARNED if you thinking about moving to Standard Bank. </p> <p>Good luck to your savings goals and money .
