Standard bank is a mess

I had a overdraft with standard bank years ago which is paid off , it’s been 4years and the account on Itc says it’s open, I called and I went personal to the branch to tell them to close it every time for the past years I have been told it will take few days for the account to be closed and updated. I moved from standard bank to FNB because of a lot of problems I encountered. It’s been years since I paid the overdraft but they still don’t update their records. I have made calls and every time I’m told it will take few day well it’s been years now. It’s really affecting my profile cos it’s shows that it’s still open and I’m owing . I owe standard nothing . But they still don’t want to update their system. It’s been years. I need to buy a house but I can’t cos of their unprofessionalism and now I’m really frustrated. I called almost every second week for the past years and same story , we will close it , it takes 7 days to 14 well it’s been 4 years
