Standard Bank is a great disaster

Wow.. here we go again, just when i thought they couldn't ***** up again. Here standard bank knows how to ***** their clients. Their customer service is **********. For the last few months I have been receiving a message, stating that my account is in arrears. When I called in the first time, I was merely told it was a message sent to me in error. Till I got the message again I didnt think much about it as i was told it was sent in error. Until a week or so later and my home loan application at ABSA is declined because my account is in arrears with standard bank. I received the notification again and this time called in...AGAIN. The agent first telling me my account is in arrears to which I say but how is it in arrears if you debited my account just a couple days ago. The agent goes and checks, and then states actually your account is up to date. And cant actually see any time where my account was in bad standing. She said logged it and sent to to the relevant team. I told her about how my home loan application was declined due to this and this needs to be resolved asap. I contacted ABSA to which I told them it's a mistake on standard banks side, to which they told me that is how it reflects on my credit record. And they couldn't do anything about it until Standard bank clear it. So we get to today, where I receive the same message again. Now knowing that this is affecting my credit record and the ability for me to purchase a home. I call in to which I speak to Mercy from collections. Possibly the worst agent you can ever have. She is blatantly rude, speaks over me and raises attitude. Do you forget I am the client. She couldn't tell me why my account reflected that they do. And that you work off two systems. One where my account says it's up to date but another account reflecting that it's not. WOW so standard bank cant even have their own data of a client match on their own systems... but Mercy the oh do great agent gracefully talks over me, then still gives me attitude. This 'status' that is giving me a bad credit score, affecting my ability to purchase a home they cant resolve quickly. So I wonder will they be paying extra towards my rent when I cant move in on time because my home loan applications are being declined? And when I ask to speak to a manager to have it escalated... oh wow... do you think after holding for 10 minutes that I ever spoke to a manager? So I wonder will standard bank be paying doe my airtime either? Let's not even get to thinking about how me as a first time buyer don't qualify for my bond and transfer fees to be included in the home loan balance. For the sole reason that my partner is second time buyer. And they have knowledge about bond fees. So I get penalized once again by standard bank. So you ***** up my credit record and cant assist me with bond fees because of someone else... wow...

Hi Tshilodzi

Please confirm when I will receive further feedback regarding the matter?

Also please be advised I would like a letter confirming my account is up to date and that it has been updated accordingly with the credit bureau
