Standard bank insurance fails to assist with claim

I had a water pipe that was leaking in my bathroom last year. I called the std bank insurance to lay a claim. The plumber came out and repaired the leak but there was structural damage to the wall. They appointed a contracting company to fix the damages resulting from the leak and the damage by the plumber.<br> The issue arrises that the contracting company removed the bath tap to install the tiles. When they replaced the tap they did not use thread tap on the fitting. This resulted in another leak which caused damage to my walls. I called std bank insurance earlier this year when I picked up the moisture in my walls. After a month, I had to call them back because no one contacted me back. When they finally sent a plumber to see what was the problem, he broke the tiles and that's when we found out the there was no thread tape. Std bank insurance has failed to fix the issue as they are stating that I should pay R 750 again, for work that was incorrectly done the first time. Its over a month since the plumber initially came back to my place. Standard bank insurance has really failed me.
