Standard Bank *********** Insurace

On 12 December 2019 I was in a accident where I was hit in the rear of my car. My car was towed and taken to Auction Nation . Due to it happening in the festive season and places were closing. I was informed my car will only be attended to when the panel beaters would open on 6 January 2020.

On the 6 January 2020 I called the Standard Bank Insurance to find out where my car is ? I was informed that it is at Paramount Bodyworks. On calling them I then was informed that my car is not there but still at Auction Nation . I had to call Standard Bank again that's when I spoke to Mmametsi Lepota . She send Matthew Smith a e-mail to have my car uplifted from Auction Nation. On the 8 January 2020 I called Paramount Bodyworks and spoke to Karen. She informed me that the needed parts for my car have been ordered.I called again just to follow up , as no one from my Insurance side nor the panel beaters are keeping me informed regarding my car , I spoke to Bradley and he said that there is only one car before mine and I will have my car latest back by Tuesday ( 21/1/20 ) . On 13/1/20 I was called by Lulo and was informed that the courtesy car must be returned on Friday the 17/1/20. In our conversation he said he called Paramount and they informed him that they are still waiting on parts for my car . When asking for extension he rep**** he was informed to notify me that the 30 days are up and no extension will be allowed . Why is there now a different thing being told to him ? I asked him to whom can I speak regarding this matter as I the client do not understand why I must be inconvenienced by not having transport as I asked for extension of the courtesy car . All this follow up I did was to avoid what's happening now ,me having no transport . I kept on following up on my car as I do not want to be inconvenienced by not having a car and now it's as if my insurance company is not bothered that all this is happening to their client. I called the insurance and spoke to Thandi to be told that I can not be accommodated to extend the courtesy car. I am not happy about this and I truely hoped that something could be sorted out to keep me as a client happy. On reply from Matthew Smith , of which he cc'd Busisiwe Kunene and Elizabeth Marine he said "The claim was authorised within the turnaround time and authorisation for repairs sent. We understand the Panelbeaters and Part Suppliers were closed over the festive period however we do not have control of this. " However this is not true as authorisation was only send to Paramount on the 24/12/19 whereby they were close . If I did not call to find out where my car is on the 6th January then it would be further down in line as when I spoke to Karen there was already 8 cars there . He also said "Our repair management team will follow up on the repairs and keep you updated on the progress thereof" and until now NO ONE bothered to call me . I am still currently without any transport and deeply disappointed with how I'm being treated by my insurance .

I would NEVER recommend Standard Bank as insurance to anyone
