Standard bank immediate payment
R50 immediate transfer by standard bank is a *****. Why charge R50 if there is 2 hours waiting period for some transactions? I sent the money after 6am and it is during the week yet the person who needed it for an emergency ended up waiting 2hours. Capitec charges R8 and it is immediate even on weekends.
Also on the app it changed from displaying R50 from get go to saying “depends on amount” yet it is still a flat fee of R50 which displays now just before payinginstead of how it displayed before.
Time to really move to another bank. Even the money I pay monthly for prestige is just a waste as you better off without it.
