Standard bank honouring fee ???

I was charged R655.70 ( 5 x honouring fees of R131.14 each)

As it goes , 28th April 2018 I took my available balance and worked out I would need to deposit R7000 to comfortably cover my debit orders on 1 May 2018. Not aware that my 5 transactions spend on the 27th and 28th had not yet been deducted off my available balance . As a result all 5 of these transactions were only processed 2 May 2018, pushing my account into overdrawn. I call standard bank call centre (***) to ask advice , they could not assit and said I should go into a bank to speak with a manager. 2 of the 5 transactions were less than the honouring fee itself. I was only called by standard bank 8th May to ask me to settle the overdrawn status. Of which I rep**** that I had done so on the 3rd of May anyways. So not sure why they were calling me anyways. Also the SB agent said this would affect my credit status negatively. That's disappointing to hear.

I accept the transactions are mine . I believe that due to the circumstances all the honouring fees should be refunded . And that should I have know or prewarned my account would be overdrawn i would have avoided the penalties and deposited more money to cover 8 day old card transactions. Standard bank making money from their clients vulnerability and incorrect information on balance available. Also SB must show me where I agreed to this honouring fee charge ?? As far as I know if I don't have funds available then transactions shouldnt go off. Awaiting your response on this forum , as I am busy at work and don't have time to go into a branch of Standard bank.
