STANDARD BANK HOMEOWNER INSURANCE THEIF'S

Hi All,

I advise all people if you have a home loan from Standard bank, do not take out the Homeowner building insurance from Standard bank as they are bunch of *****'s who will take your money every month but when its time to claim they will find any loop or any excuse not to pay. Rather take building insurance from any other company. I stay out in PMB and over the December 2021 period we had a few terrible storms with bad hail. Up until these storms we I never had a problem with my roof, but then in January 2022 I notice my roof was leaking as my walls where getting wet. I put a claim through and the assessor came out and didn't even go of the roof as he only looked from inside the house. My claim was rejected was due to dampness. Firstly my roof was painted, treated and everything else that needed to be done a year ago, only the part of the roof that was damaged by the storm is where the water is leaking, so how is this dampness. There was no problem with the roof till the storm.

then this week my gate motor packed up due to a power surge. this was working perfectly find up until this week. they rejected the claim and said its prolong damage over time. Gate motor was serviced yearly and no other gate technician found prolonged damage, only after the surge it was damage but this claim was also rejected.

I know of other people who are not insured with Standard bank and claimed for there roof that looked like mine and was paid out, also for gate motor surges and was paid out.

they are quick to take your money but their response time to claim is utterly poor and then they also don't pay out. They are bunch of *****'s ripping the the customers off.
