Standard bank home loans in it in for the money

<p>I s****ed a new job and I contacted Standard bank home loans to have my debit order date changed from the 27th to month end as this is my new salary date. I was told because it's a joint bond account I will have to get written consent from my wife in order for them to change the date. The debit order is coming from my account and not my wife's so why on earth would I need her consent. I will not beg them to change my debit order date. They can let the debit order go off on the 27th and see if there's money in my account. I think i will just close my Standard bank current account and see how they debit order a closed account. So what will the process be for updating my bank account details? </p>
