STANDARD BANK HOME LOANS CAN'T RECTIFY THEIR MISTAKE.........

To whom it may concern,

I Mr. P van Blommestein is terribly disappointed in the service of STANDARD BANK Home Loans.

I accepted an Offer to Purchase on the 22 August 2020 on my property: Erf no: 937, Unit no: 2, Sectional Title Scheme no: 665/1994 Sectional Title Scheme known as SS Mont Park 937/(665/1994) , Montana Park, 169 Hadeda Street.

The buyers Mr J Marrais proceed with accepting a home loan from STANDARD BANK where as the process to purchase was handed over to Van Heerden & Krugel Attorneys.

The following attorney's was appointed by STANDARD BASNK for transport (KVV) KAPP VAN WYK VAN ZYL where Denise noticed that Standard Bank made a mistake with the address on the documentation that the buyer Mr. J Marais has to sign.

KVV reported this error to Van Heerden & Krigel on the 22/10/2020 and asked for a copy of the municipality account. VH&K send it through where on the 28/10/2020 VHK&K followed up on the matter and KVV said that they have not yet received the amended documentation from STANDARD BANK and did request an escalation and they hope to receive it by the end of the day.

On 11/11/2020 VH&K followed up with Denise if their client has signed the amended documentation where as KVV rep**** not yet due to not receiving the amended documentation from STANDARD BANK. KVV did report it again to STANDARD BANK where they received a reply from STANDARD BANK stating the the matter has proceeded to their SECTIONAL TITLE DEPARTMENT and they hope by the end of the day STANDARD BANK will send it through.

On 17/11/2020 VH&K followed up again with Denise at KVV and where VH&K explained to Denise where I as the Seller is sitting in a very difficult position. WHY? I also put in a OTP on a house and our purchase CAN NOT proceed before we receive the amended documentation from STANDARD BANK where they only have to put in the correct street address.

We need to move out of the house that we renting on the 20th of December due to the fact that the house is also been sold and the buyer wants to move in on registration and the house that we bought that owner also needs the buy to proceed before the deeds offices close on the 18th of December.

That means that I will not be able to put a roof over my wife and 5 children from 20/12/2020 due to STANDARD BANK that can't do the amendment on their fault.

It's disappointing to think that we all have a job to do, and that is the job of STANDARD BANK to correct their FAULT and they can't seem to do it.

It feels terrible to think that so many families will be affected now due to STANDARD BANK not doing their job, how difficult can it be and then one can't seem to even get through on a phone to STANDARD BANK.

I do hope that with this review that STANDARD BANK will look into this matter and hopefully if they make a mistake on someone's life like my situation with not being able to provide my family with a roof over their heads they will try and work harder to satisfy their clients in future.

PLEASE STANDARD BANK CAN YOU RECTIFY YOUR MISTAKE ON THE DOCUMENTATION AND SEND IT THROUGH TO KVV ATTORNEYS, THAT WE ALL COULD REGISTRATE OUR PROPERTIES WITH THE DEEDS OFFICE.
