Standard Bank Home Loan Service

I want to express my disappointment with the service I am receiving from Standard Bank home loans.

I app**** for a pledge application online for the value R900 000 which was approved for R700 000 at 90% ltv. At that time the Standard Bank had advised that I sign an offer to purchase.

The issue started when I inquired of how much exactly is 90% ltv which then resulted in being taken from pillar to post being advised of different outcomes. Some consultants saying it means I need to pay 10% of R700k and some saying it should have been R810k as the total value app**** for was R****.

I now have to wait another week for the query to be verified by credit department while I’ve signed the offer to purchase and even agreed of whatever amount over and above the R700k they initially said I’m approved for.
