They have charged me penalties even though I have provided notice period. There is no way that you as a consumer can get out of paying them penalties regardless of notifying them that you are selling your home unless transfer goes though on only the last day. The call centre was unhelpful and could not provide any direction other than repeating the "standards" my next step is to the ombudsman because their process is unfair to the consumer.
