Standard Bank Home Loan

So I app**** for a home loan at standard bank which was granted at 8.05% and if i move my accounts over, I was to be granted a concession to make it 7.62%. With my accounts moved, it looks like its still at 8.05% even though i have been on SB since around October 2020 already.

Another big issue is that the bond was registered yesterday (2021/01/07), got the SMS that it's registered but now, the first debit goes off on the 25th. I need to give in a calendar months notice to leave my current residence which means that they want me to pay a bond and rent this month (if the registration was done at the end of December, i could have given January as my notice). One cannot give notice without knowing when the process would complete as its always estimates with the deeds office.

I tried calling the call centre and they are constantly transfering you, I was on the phone for about 20 minutes yesterday with each agent asking me for my ID number, then promptly saying that they cant help me and they need to transfer me. Horrible service after transferring all of my accounts over honestly.

I need these issues fixed immediately which are easy fixes.

1. I need to complete my notice period so if the home loan could start from the 25th February as I will give in my calendar months notice now for the last month being Feb, problem solved. 2. The interest rate needs to be corrected as the concession has not been taken into account.

Still waiting, are we going to wait until the debit order date passes? I was told that the debit order has to go off within 45 days. 45 days from the 6th January 2021 is the 20th of February 202, that is more than enough time as i do get paid on the 20th of each month. This would save us all the hassle. I got no response from the Callcentre (being pushed around all over the place) and it seems that there's no response here either!

I need this resolved ASAP as you guys are probably waiting to say that its too latew to stop the debit when you guys finally respond on the 23rd. I need an answer NOW!!!

And to think that I'm a brand new client that has transferred accounts from FNB. I never had to wait a week after an auto reply to get a decent response!
