Standard bank has put me into more debt......

<p>I have been a loyal customer to standard bank for many years, Im not sure which year but my brother took a student loan from std bank, and i was paying an interest fee of R420 until my brother started working. i made means and contacted the bank and informed them that my brother was working and they made arrangements for payments. Early this year brother was retrenched and was unemployed for a couple of months. On Friday 25th November 2016 I got a sms from my in-contact that an amount of R7739.97 was transferred from my account to another account. I quickly rushed to my nearest branch and was told it went to my brother's student loan account and it cannot be reversed. The lady that was attending me put me through to the student loan line, and i spoke with another lady which also confirmed that they will not refund me. firstly, std bank did not call or write to me as the second party to our agreement to inform me about my brother not paying the loan. Instead std bank took my money from my salary R7739.97 without informing me. Now my car is not paid, my insurance is not paid, my child's fees are not paid, and my family and i will starve this December because i could not buy my household grocery. My main corncern is that how can stad bank put their customers to soo much debt in one month. if std bank really cared for their customers they would have called me and informed me.</p>
