Standard bank gives you an overdraft without you knowing

I have a check account at standard bank, i then went on maternity leave. The day i finished work i went to standard bank cape gate branch and spoke to an agent asking them to please stop my debit orders for the 3 months i won't be earning a salary. They refused to help. When I told him that when I received my little bit of uif i am going to lose it to the costs on the account. He told me to use my savings account. They cant help me. I ended up going back to work 3 months later and my account was +-R1500 in arrears with bank charges. When i received half a salary the first month they took R700 from my savings account. We had a fight and i got some of it back. Now this bank took those bank costs and call it an overdraft (witch i dony have) and handed me over to attorneys.. For bank charges i begged the bank to help me avoid. Now please standard bank please show me where i signed for an overdraft and please show me where I used it.. I tried paying off the account, but how if they charge R60+ a month in charges extra. This bank keeps putting people deeper in debt without a care in the world instead of assisting their clients.
