Standard Bank gives worst home loans

Absolute ******* service.

I was given bad financial advice when taking my home loan - they gave me an interest rate 1% higher than they could have offered me based on qualifications, and now claim that they won't change it for the 20 year term.

All the people I've dealt with are ***********.

In light of documents I need to refinance my loan, they are unwilling to be punctual with providing me my documents. I need home loan statements since inception, but they only show 6 months and it is a manual process to get all statements. What an embarassment of a system that has taken more than a week, and still nothing, despite the promise in their auto-reply that they'll reply within 24 hours.

When contacting a private banker, I just get slammed with a half hour waiting queue, that sees me dealing with yet another *********** representative who just forwards me on to the next one.

Standard Bank is a pathetic bank that is out of date and employs negligent and *********** service representatives.
