Standard Bank funeral cover - Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This is why I wouldn't recommend Standard Bank funeral policy to anyone: Someone very close to me had the policy with you guys. She lost her formal job but could still make payments via direct deposit. She negotiated this to be done and the bank rejected it because she had a loan with the bank which she was still honouring payment via direct deposit. You guys said to her that the money needs to be debited from her SB account despite her not receiving any income. Not even 3 months later one of the beneficiaries of the policy passed away and the main member had to use money from her own pocket after 5 years of not missing a payment. All because you guys did not want her to direct deposit her monthly payment for the funeral policy but you allowed her to direct deposit her monthly payment for the loan.
